Just Starting Out: I am in my early 20`s & proud to have been born and raised in Buffalo, New York! All through my school years I was involved in a number of sports;Volleyball, Basketball and Track and Field. I was a dedicated scholar-athlete with an aspiration to be the best athlete I could possibly be. My father used to wake me up at 4:30am to go to the gym with me before school! In the winter, because my school did not have indoor track, my mother would drive me three days a week to the nearest (75+ minutes away) indoor track to be able to continue to practice. With an incredible amount of support and encouragement from both my parents and coaches, I was able to achieve a great amount of athletic success during my high school career.
I graduated from The College at Brockport State University of New York in May of 2016 with my Bachelors in Exercise Science. I was an NCAA Track & Field student-athlete for all four years of college. During my time there, I was introduced to the sport of powerlifting by my Strength and Conditioning Coach, Ed Jaskulski. From there, everything clicked. The more I lifted and the stronger I became, the more I wanted to learn and train. I ended up changing my intent from Physical Therapy to Strength and Conditioning in pursuit of developing a career within the fitness industry.
Throughout my college experience, I had the opportunity to intern for both the University at Buffalo with Head Strength Coach of Olympic Sports, EliteFTS writer, and World Class Powerlifter Nate Harvey, and the Rochester Institute of Technology Head Performance Coach Bryonne Harring . I also had the honor of training with some of the worlds strongest powerlifters, like Paul Childress and Rae Ann Miller.
Since graduation: I am a full time Personal Trainer, and have competed in two powerlifting meets and one bodybuilding competition. I am currently in my off season for both powerlifting and bodybuilding so that I can put my full focus into my clients and studies.
Recent Meets/Competitions and Results:
August 2016- RPS meet in Buffalo, NY- 1st place in 165lb class, junior
November 2016- Kenmore Barbell & Fitness- 1st place in 165lb class, open
March 2017- Natural Muscle Association CAN/AM Nationals- 3rd Place First Time Figure and Open Figure
